Really nice beach. Honestly, it’s not only for dog owners. Like many people mentionned, theres was alot of families, couples too. Went there two days in a row and it was amazing. Plus, theres no limits on how far you can go, compared to the two other beaches.
Water was really shallow. Can go pretty far and still be up to your knees. Lots of dogs here. Good for kids also. Didn’t go into the main beach yet. Was closed when I came. Waves aren’t strong either. It’s like a pool.
This little beach is the reason we chose to stay a few extra days in Lake George. A couple notes: it’s dog-friendly but not dog-only — we saw families, sunbathers, and even a photo shoot while we were there, so this is not a place for unruly pups to run wild. And as others note, it’s close to the road, though it’s separated pretty well. But there is plenty of room to run and splash and chase sticks, which is all we ask. Parking is convenient though the parking ticket machines in this area are iffy — drive until you find a working one, get your ticket, then go park.
It’s a small beach but the view is amazing! There’s a small plot of grass between the beach and the roadway so if your pup doesn’t have great recall, best to keep them on leash
We really love this place, it’s Absolutely amazing, you will not regret coming here with your furry friend. The vibe, people are so friendly and its dog friendly, family environment, beautiful, such a great environment, I am so happy that there is not restrictions for dogs and my dog Absolutely love it the water is clean and it’s so safe. You won’t regret it. My dog really loved the beach and place. Even the whole beach boardwalk is amazing and there are couple of restaurants also available where you can take your furry friend with you to have fun. Across the dog beach there is a nice big park where you can even take your dog for walk.lots of parking space available across the beach.❤️ 😀
