Abby’s Dog Park is the perfect destination for dog owners seeking a safe and welcoming environment for their furry friends in Horseshoe Bend, AR. This country-style dog park features separate fenced areas for both small and large dogs, ensuring that pups of all sizes can play safely off-leash. Shaded by mature trees, the park offers plenty of cool spots for hot summer days and benches for pet owners to relax while their dogs enjoy the fresh air.
The park emphasizes cleanliness and convenience, with running water available for dogs in each section, waste bags, and trash bins for easy cleanup. Aggressive dogs (and humans) are not allowed, creating a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. With its well-maintained grassy fields, clear park rules, and proximity to the neighboring Veterans Park, Abby’s Dog Park stands out for its thoughtful amenities and community spirit.
Clean, plenty of shade, fresh water and they keep it mowed
My Mo loves the park. I tell him we r going to park he knows exactly where we r going. Now I have to call it the Par or spell it quietly or he goes crazy till u go.
Nice large separated space that allows for multiple dogs and multiple sizes, in two different fenced areas. Fresh water for the dogs and benches for people to sit. Some nice shaded areas, and a well-thought-out entry to the fenced areas.

Abby’s Dog Park is a quiet country space where dogs can run free, off leash with a side for big dogs (30 lbs. +) and a side for small dogs. Clean running water is available on each side for your dogs and a bench is provided where you can sit while they play.
My dogs had great fun on the small dog side playing chase up and down the fence line with the one large dog on the big dog side. All the dogs wore themselves out within about 30 minutes while we owners looked on and smiled.
Poopy Bags and and a trash can are provided for cleaning up after your dogs. Mean or aggressive dogs (and people) are not allowed.
There are trees for shade on hot summer days. The park is open from dawn to dusk.
Come on out to Abby’s Dog Park – your dogs will thank you!
UPDATE: I returned for a second visit to Abby’s Dog Park this week and upon closer inspection, have discovered that on to sides, the fence on the small dog side of the park has numerous areas where the fence does not go down to the ground by as much as several inches. This is a HUGE danger to small escape artist dogs who may quickly squeeze under and run into the road from the park.
It is extremely important to locate these openings when you are at the park and watch your dogs closely to prevent mishaps. Hopefully the Dog Park will fix these before someone’s dog is injured.
