The park is known for its cleanliness, well-maintained grounds, and friendly community atmosphere, making it a great stop for dogs and owners looking for a safe, dog-friendly area in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Keep in mind, the park does not provide working water fountains—bringing your own water is a must, especially on hot days. Parking is available in the nearby neighborhood; please be considerate of residents when choosing a spot. Forest City Dog Park is an ideal choice for those seeking a large, open space close to the city, and remains a favorite among dog lovers searching for pet-friendly parks in Honolulu.
I brought my dog to this park. She had a great time playing with all (about 10) the other dogs.
It’s a nice park, super hot but unfortunately the park has absolutely no water. We didn’t find that out until our dogs played a little and we went to go fill up our water bowls. All the water was shut off.
I love this park, this time it wasn’t as I was expecting, management needs to put a sign saying please clean after your dog. This couse deseases to other dogs. Other than that is a great park.
I had to stop with my dogs for a few hours after picking them up from the airport quarantine station for their next flight. This was the perfect stop. It’s clean and large. Only problem is the water fountains are just a decoration. Make sure you bring some water with you.
I’m a military spouse who lives near the area and wanted to go somewhere close. I think its only for residents, but no one yelled at me, thankfully. We had to park in the neighborhood, sure to not get in anyone’s way, and walk to the park. I hope we can still come here because it’s clean and convent for pups with no yard.
