High Bridge Dog Park offers a fenced off-leash area for dogs to explore and play in the heart of High Bridge, NJ, just off Main Street near the Commons parking lot. Local dog owners appreciate the easy access to shady areas thanks to the plentiful trees, creating a comfortable environment for pets and their humans, especially during warmer months. While the space provides a much-needed spot for exercise, reviews mention that the park can be overgrown at times, particularly in the small dog area, so visitors should be mindful of seasonal conditions.
The park features separate small and large dog areas, though the small dog space is noted as being quite limited and not as well maintained. With a black fence surrounding the play areas, good parking access, and direct connection to local trails, this pet-friendly spot is a convenient option for residents seeking dog-friendly outdoor recreation. Whether you’re walking the nearby paths or letting your dog off-leash, High Bridge Dog Park brings together local dog lovers and offers a casual, relaxed setting for four-legged friends.

Clean, lots of trees for shade. Dogs saw a fox trotting through the parking lot and got some exercise.
Was a little bit hard to find, but park at the Commons and you should see the black fencing.
Small dog area is super small and dirty
Don’t waste your time. It’s not a dog park it’s a small fenced off area with rocks. They should just demolish it no one in their right mind would take their dog there
Clear distinction between the maintenance of the “large” vs “small” dog area. I wouldn’t even allow my dog in the small area, which is woefully overgrown with weeds and poison ivy. The large are is also becoming overgrown with poison Ivy and sumac. Shame on you parks department
