There are no playgrounds or restrooms, and the grounds can be affected by seasonal geese activity, leading to some mess at times. Small park next to river. Lovely area for leaf peeping. No facilities or playground
What could be a nice park is infested yearly with geese. Geese bring excessive poop. While not something that is easily solved as the park is tucked away on a dead end road it has potential to be great.
I absolutely love this place. It’s great to take the kids to for a picnic and some water fun.
You can walk past and not even realise there is a park
This park used to be so nice with slides and swings as well as a boat dock and picnic benches. Now its covered in geese poop. They removed the tables, slides, dock, and swings. There is no point in going unless you want bird crap on your shoes. The town has completely neglected this once beautiful riverfront park. All they left was the old ash filled grills.
