East Hanover Township Community Park, located at 114 Manada Gap Rd in Grantville, Pennsylvania, is widely regarded as one of the area’s best parks for families and dog owners alike. The park features wide open scenic spaces, multiple playgrounds, benches, a disc golf course, various sports courts, and a beautiful half-mile nature trail along a creek—perfect for dog-friendly hikes and pet-friendly adventures near Grantville.
Visitors enjoy the extensive trails with exercise circuits, gravel loops, and plenty of picnic spots under shady trees. While the park is not specifically advertised as a fenced dog park, its open layout and natural trails make it an excellent choice for walking your dog on-leash and enjoying the outdoors together. Families particularly appreciate the close proximity of playgrounds and pavilions, making it easy to bring both kids and pups for an outing.
Great park for the kids. Lots of playground equipment and slides and swings. Multiple trails with markers and disc golf course. Volleyball court tennis court hockey court baseball field. One room school house to tour must call ahead for tours.
We only went here for the pickleball courts which were actually just role out nets on tennis courts. No water fountains that we could fine and zero shade on the courts so it can get hot.
Beautiful experience and lunch with my family.
Stopped here on the way home from vacation after a long drive for the kids to stretch and take a break. It is the best park we’ve ever been to! Nothing like what we have at home. The kids absolutely loved it and they’ll be begging to come back even though we’re 2.5 hours away. Lol
One of our family’s favorite parks, hands down. Scenic open space with plenty of benches, two fun playgrounds, a disc golf course, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, one nice-sized pavilion right next to the parking lot, and a ga-ga pit. A few picnic tables are dotted throughout, and there is one charcoal grill. There is a charming old schoolhouse with benches and a gazebo nearby in a grove of shade trees. The walking trail is a lovely gravel loop over rolling hills (.5 to .8 mile, depending on the loop) with new exercise circuits along the way. A half-mile nature trail meanders through the woods and along the creek and winds back behind the baseball fields over the hill.
