Fort Morgan Dog Park (Gateway) offers a welcoming, pet-friendly environment in Fort Morgan, Colorado, perfect for locals and road-trippers looking for a safe, grassy space for dogs to run and play. Located at 1137 Gateway Ave, this dog park features two separate, fully-fenced areas, allowing both small and large breeds to enjoy off-leash time in a secure setting. Unique to this dog park are the designated sections for small and large dogs, giving peace of mind for owners of little pups. While dog waste bags are provided to help keep the park tidy, there isn’t a water fountain on-site, so be sure to bring water for your pet, especially during hot or sunny days, as there isn’t much shade available yet. Whether you’re a local resident or passing through on a road trip, Fort Morgan Dog Park offers a simple, enjoyable destination to let your dog stretch their legs in Northeast Colorado.
It was clean just wish had area to give my dog water
Grassy space for dogs to play, clean, and kind attentive people and sweet dogs that go there. Stopped along on my road trip and my dog had a great time.
-1 star because there’s no shade in the actual park. Adding a couple trees would make this place a 5 star!
really nice dog park, with children’s playground right outside the fenced in area. borders a farm field on one side.
My dogs are small, and they can get out through gaps in the gates and fencing. Not ideal because they can get into the larger area for the bigger dogs. I continually have to keep watch that they don’t cross over to the area where the bigger dogs are.
Nice park and nice dog area. Dog area had free dog bags but lots of uncleaned poo piles, tidied up a few more piles then what we left!
We really like going here because we don’t have a yard but it’s really sad that nobody will let their dogs interact with other dogs at least my experience being there so we drive to Loveland twice a week so our dog can play with other dogs dogs need social interaction to not just as humans but with other dogs
Nice place to take your large and small dogs. This park has two separate fenced off sections so that the little ones don’t have to be with the larger breeds. Every time I’ve been Its only been me and my dog. Unfortunately this park does not have a water fountain of any sort. Would have been nice if there was one for the dogs so they could get a drink after running around, so make sure to take some water for you and your dog.
