Cute interactive park with a average play ground right across and if you go a little past that you will find the hidden gem for the kids. A little creek for them to walk in when it hasn’t down poured
Clean Park with a Senior Baseball Field, Tennis Courts, 1 Pickleball Court, A Pavilion Area, 4 Lit Basketball Courts, Playground and a large grass area for Volleyball/Picnics/Games etc.
We’ve been coming to this park now for a few months and so far have good things to say. The park is very large and there’s a covered area for owners to sit in some shade. The dog owners we’ve met have been very cool and the dogs are, for the most part, friendly and healthy. There’s fresh water available during the warmer months.
I went there to kayak. Launch area really muddy. Would be nice if they could build a little dock to make it easier getting in & out of kayak. Creek was beautiful & water level was high. We went about a mile upstream until we hit a downed tree that we couldn’t maneuver around. So peaceful. Need to paddle it in the Spring when water levels are high as it does get shallow in spots. Really enjoyed.
I’ve only been to this dog park a handful of times so far since I’ve gotten the permit for it, and I love it! There’s never many dogs there whenever I go, which sometimes is nice but other times is boring for my little guy. The only reason for 4 stars is because you have to pay an annual fee to use this dog park, which is fine, however there’s nothing there. Only a couple benches, no tunnels or obstacles for the dogs to jump or play on, no trees – it just seems that since you are paying to use it, there should be more amenities for the pups. Someone I met there told me they have water fountains that shoot water out of the ground for during the summer so the dogs can run through it, but the park didn’t even turn them on last year. Overall, a very clean dog park and my dog has fun there!
