Terrific dog park minus all the mosquitos. We go every weekend but have to use off big spray beforehand. I like the space and most dog owners who visit here watch their animals and play with them. They are also pretty good at cleaning up after their pets.
What a great little oasis to find on my trip through this area! My pups were ECSTATIC to run through the lush grass and I loved all the trees surrounding the park…made it so beautiful and provided ample shade for hot pups.
We love bringing our dog to Westland Dog Park! It has a large, grassy area for the dogs to run around in, a walking trail next to the grass, lots of shade trees, benches, a picnic table, a sandy area, and it’s completely fenced in with double gates at the entry. There are 2 sides, one for puppies/small dogs, and the other for large dogs. It also has a water fountain! We love Westland Dog Park!
Great park! Love the environment and quality of the park. Most of the time the people visiting are responsible and respectful. There is a scenic walking trail along the river and a fenced in area for large dogs as well as a smaller fenced in area for smaller dogs and puppies. Also a playground and picnic area and basketball court.
