Great place! Love hanging out here. Especially with the kids. Wish there were more bathroom options and a water fountain or spicket.

Beautiful, serene, large parking area with trees. Bathrooms were closed and outhouses were available. Manicured lawns, picnic tables were available. Children playing, nice sounds. Everyone happy in these suroundings.

I’m not a local, but we needed a place to go eat our dinner that was dog friendly. This came up and sounded interesting. The pavilion was clean, the place was well kept, but the people there at 5pm were a bit sketchy.

I don’t think they were dangerous, more Jerry Springer than Sons of Anarchy. Fun to people watch, but not picnic with the family family

I did see plenty of older folk walking their dogs along the path so the local reputation must not be too bad.

I admit that this was a single point in time observation, so if any locals care to dispute I will defer to their judgements

Absolutely gorgeous place. Great for the family to get out, and enjoy the outdoors.

Clean, green, and often see wildlife!
Great in the winter months too, paths are plowed, and can skate when the weather is right!
