The water is a lovely feature, especially in the morning. So many different birds. Benches surrounding it are nice for a rest and nature watching. Seen people fishing on more than one occasion. I have seen 1 gator.
That is a beautiful Park and a walk trail swings for kids picnic area tables. Awesome view of the lake. Very pleasant place to walk around and exercise, ride bike, etc.
Edit: 11 months later and the garbage is still stacked up. YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK FOLKS. Disgusting.

This park could be such a gem. The walking trail is pleasant and there are water fountains, picnic tables and benches around the pond. Unfortunately, there is garbage strewn around. Sheds are left open, bikes and toys at the Boys and Girls Club are lying around near the garbage. No clean restrooms, only Porta johns. There is plenty of parking but Dover Park Drive is full of potholes, so be careful!
Beautiful park. Was just a little sad on how much litter there was around the park
This park is great! It is pleasant and safe to walk around, especially now that it gets dark very early. People around are very polite and friendly 🙂 you don’t feel nervous walking around in the Dover area.
