Got soaked at the park today. It was a beautiful day.
I can’t say enough about this park. It’s gorgeous. Well maintained. Dog park is nice. Lots of people. It’s a very nice place to walk and enjoy the scenery.
Nice park with a dog lake — my dog loves it! The only downside is that there aren’t enough trees or shaded areas around the lake, so it’s best to visit in the evening to avoid the heat
Found bullet casing in the water of the large dog park beach. Can’t believe some idiots firing off a gun at a park. Especially with in range of hime across the lake!
We took our two> under 20 pound beagles to the dog park today 4/15/23 for the first time for us. It was really nice and well maintained I was really very impressed by it. I was disappointed by some of the larger dogs in the small dog area and by some people paying no attention to their dogs, and a couple of dogs outside the park off lead. But we had e nice overall experience.
Okay, let’s get into it!
What I like most about this dog park is that they have small and big dogs separated. Well, at least for the folks that follow the rules.
Features:
* Doggy obstical course
* Area where dogs can swim
* dog water fountains, bag stations, dog showers
* 2 shaded pavilions in both park areas.
* Two trails to walk in the dog area. One longer trail and a shorter trail.
As always, you have to keep a good eye on your fur, baby. But my dog loves it here and loves that he can be free and roam and get all the scents. He will play a little but mainly likes to explore and sniff around.
Outside of the dog park, there is like a 2-mile trail you can walk. There is also a large playground opposite of the dog park on the other side of the lake.
Overall, a great park!
