Crosbyton City RV Park offers travelers a convenient and pet-friendly place to rest in Crosbyton, Texas. This RV park is nestled beside a city park and boasts several free RV sites with full hookups (including water, sewer, and 30 amp power). With ample green space and proximity to the local park, it’s a solid choice for those searching for a dog-friendly stopover while traveling in West Texas.
Along with basic amenities, Crosbyton City RV Park is known for its clean grounds, generous donation-based stays (free for the first two nights), and a welcoming, safe environment. Nearby, you’ll find a large public pool (open in summer), a playground, picnic tables, and plenty of open space—making it ideal for visitors with pets looking to stretch their legs or enjoy a stroll. While it doesn’t have a dedicated dog park area, its spaciousness and city park next door allow for easy dog walks and playtime.
This is an awesome Free RV Park sponsored by the city of Crosbyton. There are 8 or so sites with water, sewer, and 30 amp power.
They do have a donation box. It is a very clean park. Really enjoyed our overnight stop.
The folks in this city have been incredibly helpful when I’ve had problems with my camper. Very safe place to stop. Thank you to my rescuers from this morning!
There’s also a huge public pool open in the summer and a small AG church nearby that I attended on my last trip through.
So grateful for this nice, level, basic RV park. It is FREE for 2 nights; then you pay NULL per night. We were happy to make a donation for the 2 nights we stayed. Full hookups. Some sites need a few repairs, especially the electric connections, but there are 4 or 5 sites, and we were the only ones here, so it worked out great. There is a large trash dumpster, a BBQ grill (kind of) and a picnic table. It is next to a little city park which has a swimming pool and baseball field, but they were not being used while we were there. Would definitely stay here again.
This was just a great place to stop for the night. Electric and Water and some sites seem to have sewer. The location is perfect as we were traveling through Texas. The sunset was a sight to see along with the history, being on the Quanah Parker Trail.
Can’t complain for a free place to stay. They accept donations for 1 or 2 night’s stays and only charge NULL/night for 3 or more nights. They don’t take reservations and there is no on-site manager. The sites are first come, first served, but we were the only ones there. The RV Park is at the local city park with play equipment and a pool (the pool was closed when we stayed). If you’re just passing through, I would recommend this park. Plenty of room for my Class A Motorhome and Tow Vehicle.
