I was visiting from Philly for the day to attend a memorial service for my aunt and needed a safe, reliable place for my dog to stay nearby. Canine Barkyard was just a minute from the church, which was incredibly convenient—but what really made the experience exceptional was Jamie.
From the moment I arrived, Jamie put me completely at ease. I’m very selective about who I trust with my dog, but her calm, kind demeanor and clear experience made it obvious my pup would be in great hands. I left knowing I didn’t need to worry at all—and I was right.
As an added bonus, I signed my dog up for a bath, and she came back to me clean, happy, and relaxed. Jamie truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave my dog on such an important day. I can’t recommend Canine Barkyard—and especially Jamie—highly enough.
We love this place! We have 4 dogs that we have boarded for quick weekend getaways or week long family vacations. Our dogs always run in excited and run out happy when it’s time to come home with a good report card. We leave our pups and know they are in good hands and the staff here always remembers their name, their needs, and any special requirements such as daily meds. We are new to the area and finding someone to watch our dogs was imperative and we scored with Canine Barkyard. 10/10! 5 stars! 2 thumbs up!
First and most importantly, our dog Maggie LOVES her days at the Canine Barkyard and we love it for her. She gets much needed playtime and social interaction with both the staff and other dogs. The staff is very attentive and know what our girl needs. They communicate with us if there are any problems and share information each time we pick her up. The report cards they send at the end of the day are filled with photos and remarks on her experience. You can rest assured your pet will be safe and treated well here.
Hands down the best doggy daycare around. My dog is deaf and never been around other dogs until coming here and he has done amazing. The staff is great and I know Arthur is getting the best care!

I race to the door at 7am, curly tail wagging, because I know today’s going to be another adventure! From playtime with my best buds to sniffing out all the new smells, it’s nonstop fun. Oh, and did I mention the photo shoots? Yep, I’m a total star – always ready for my close-up and sure to make it into the next social media post! Treats, belly rubs, and snuggles round out the day. When Mom picks me up at 4pm, I’m full of stories to tell. The car ride home is my chance to dish all the details, but once I’m home I collapse in my bed, thinking about my report card for the day.
