I loved taking my pup here! There’s a beach to the right for the dogs. The city beach on the left is not dog friendly, and there’s a sign on the sand separating the beaches but no fence or anything to set it apart. Very clean and comfortable place to go enjoy some sunshine, waves, and friendly locals and vacationers, but not too crowded. I was also able to find parking easily for my small rv near the beach. I will definitely go back!

The off leash dog area is not labeled clearly, however when I took my dog two days in a row, it didn’t seem to bother other patrons that my dog was off leash. In fact, there were not many dogs at all, we only saw one other dog, albiet we did visit on a Thursday and Friday.

When the tides are low, it was so much fun for my dog. One caveat that will deter me from visiting again, is that there is a lot of ocean tar on the sand, and can be such a hassle cleaning off myself and my dog.
