This was a fantastic 32-acre off-leash dog park in the east side of Carbondale. We went there three times during our visit to the region. There is a creek, several ponds and lots of room for the dogs to run. The old log cabin, the views of Mt. Sopris and the surrounding red rocks really made for a experience.

I have been going to this dog park for years! Simply the best! They have a trail around and through the park with a stream and a pond. It’s probably 3 football fields long. My dogs get so much exercise and socialization every weekend!

Our dog and I stumbled upon this park this morning as we were walking on a trail in Carbondale. What a treasure. Our dog loves to walk on trails and off leash is the best. He made quick friends with other dogs and got to do what he likes best, run free on trails while always keeping tabs on me. Way better than just a regular dog park IMO.
