We Love it at Birdsong Resort. Bod and Judy are the Best. Great fishing and Kayaking. The Resort is Beautiful. We had cabin #8. It was beautiful with a new gas fire pit and furniture on the porch with a great view.

For me it was a stop as a passing boater. For that, it was a very good stop.

First thing a boater notices is the circuitous channel coming in off the Tennessee River. However the channel is well marked and I never saw less than 9’ of water. And Bob, the owner, gives you his cell phone number when you say you’re arriving by boat and asks you to call him as you enter the channel. I did call Bob, which instilled some confidence, but I would have been fine without a call.

The Marina is fine. All floating slips. A bit dated, but all functional and most are covered.

They had gas and diesel. Gas was ethanol-free, but only 87 octane.

There is a little store, but in mid October the hours are limited and I never made it in. However a simple phone call would have brought someone over.

Ice and bait are on the honor system. How long since you’ve seen that?

I got off the boat and stayed in a cabin, which appeared to be fairly new. It has a full kitchen, huge TV and a queen bed.

But the highlight for me was a heated bathroom! You get out of the shower to a toasty warm bathroom. To someone from Florida visiting during a ‘cool’ front in October, this was much appreciated.

Unfortunately, the restaurant burned down several years ago, I’m told. Not a problem if you have a car or if your boat is well stocked.

It is a large property. I addition to the cabins, there are many RV spaces and even tent camping.

You can get a nice stroll in without crossing the highway.

There are a couple of sunken barges that detract from the look of the property, but with skyrocketing prices, it doesn’t seem like they’ll be salvaged any time soon.

**Review of Birdsong RV Park**

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Birdsong RV Park, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! This family-friendly destination exceeded all our expectations, making it the perfect getaway for our family.

One of the standout features of the park was the ample space for our two dogs to walk and explore. They loved the open areas, and it gave us peace of mind knowing they had plenty of room to roam. The staff at the office were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. We appreciated being able to pick out our own pad, which added a personal touch to our stay.

We brought our 34’ RV, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to navigate the park. There were no issues with tight turns, and the full hookups made our stay comfortable and convenient.

During our time there, we rented a canoe for the day, and the young man at the marina was fantastic! He was not only friendly but also very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great day on the water. The views were absolutely spectacular, adding to the overall charm of the park.

We also had the opportunity to celebrate my sister’s kid’s birthday with family at Birdsong. When the rain started to come down, the staff generously offered us the use of the community center, which was a lifesaver! It provided a wonderful space for our gathering, and the kids were able to enjoy the celebration without any worries.

Additionally, the small pearl museum on-site was a delightful surprise. The knowledgeable staff member there was beyond friendly and eager to share fascinating information about pearls, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Overall, Birdsong RV Park is a gem of a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly retreat. The combination of friendly staff, beautiful views, spacious accommodations, and fun activities made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We rented a large pontoon boat for a family outing. The boat was pristine and so very comfortable, it was quiet too. Even a novice can pilot this and enjoy the beautiful Kentucky Lake! We had plenty of time to stop for lunch and to stop off at a nearby beach for swimming. Bob, Tina and Rick were so very helpful and accommodating, working around a reschedule due to bad weather. Just fabulous service and hospitality! It’s a Must Do when you are anywhere at all near the Camden, TN. area.

We tent camped, this is where we use to camp as kids. Our family really enjoyed the campsites. Big bonus, Firewood is provided, very friendly owners, and accommodating. They called us to make sure we had everything we needed later the next day. Felt like we were home.
Two miles from a short hiking trail with an amazing views. Great place to fish!
Wake up in the morning early and you find out why it’s called birdsong. The boat rental experience was great no issues, and they helped us without big time for due to weather issues, thank you Bob and the family for your help.
