Blackstone River Greenway offers a scenic and pet-friendly destination for walking and biking in Blackstone, Massachusetts. This path runs alongside the beautiful Blackstone River and includes paved and dirt trails, picturesque bridges, and several spots with benches for owners to rest or enjoy lunch with a view. The area is a favorite among locals for leisurely walks, bike rides, and taking in tranquil river scenery.
The trails are mostly flat and smooth, making them accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Although not a traditional fenced dog park, the Greenway provides a great opportunity for dog owners seeking dog-friendly hiking or pet-friendly trails in the area. Plenty of shaded spots and well-maintained paths are available, and there is parking onsite for easy access.
Really enjoy walking or riding my bike on the Blackstone Valley Greenway.
Beautiful spot to bike walk view nature trail is part of the southern new England trunk line trail
Love this place! Great walking. Paved and dirt paths. You chose. Fantastic bridges
My wife is in a wheel chair so I look for flat smooth bike paths to wheel her around. This is a very expensive and well built bike path. It is not long but it goes over the Blackstone River a few times and offers beautiful views. They have built nice benches so you can sit and have lunch in many scenic places. It is a great place to take your kids on bikes and scooters.
Drove here trying to go for a long bike ride (wanted to do most of the greenway that goes to Rhode Island). Part of the trail is under construction, so if you park at this location you can only go one way, which is around 4 miles long and then ends. If you are looking for a nicer longer ride with more water and scenery, I suggest parking at one of the Blackstone River State Park Bikeway stops with parking in Rhode Island. Theres miles and miles of nice paved bike path. I ended up figuring out how to go around the construction and picking up the bikeway in RI anyways.
