The city had money for a new police vehicle, but can’t be bothered to update our park for the kids. My 65 year old mother says she remembers swinging on the swingset that’s still there when she was a kid. Sad.

This is a great park. There are two large play sets, a stand alone massive slide, swings, a sand box with two digging machines, a sliding bar, and an actual merry-go-round. There is only 1 infant swing at this time. The playground equipment is surrounded by pea gravel. There are sidewalks, benches, mature trees, newly planted trees, garbage cans, a small Pavillion with a flag, and a section of covered picnic style tables. There is a skate park and some kind of community building. There are two small single stall bathrooms that I did not go in. My son has a great time here. I’m so glad he gets to experience a merry-go-round. You never see those anymore.
