FAQ for Winkleman Place Public Park in Winkelman Arizona:
We enjoy this place, but the level of garbage and bathroom mess is distracting from the beauty. It does seem a little better more recently. The little outhouse was cleaner but the main bathroom by the campground was nasty! There was a new and cool looking playground and field that was very nice!
The caretaker was nice when he took our NULL. That was the only good thing about the place. The outhouse needs pumped, feces is up to the top of the pit. The grounds were littered with broken glass and anything else than could be called trash. It was Friday and apparently this is the town hangout. Kids walking through our camp and cars all night. I would not feel comfortable drnking the water here. Cows are in the park too. Avoid!
