The playground here is amazing with all its slides and swings, the park is a great way to spend a cool Spring or Fall afternoon or a nice, sunny Summer day, and I always enjoy the Doddridge County Fair held here every August. Kinda difficult to get to, but I highly recommend it for families who want a break on a long trip coming into WV from OH because there’s the playground for the kids and it’s not too far off route 50

What a BEAUTIFUL Campground! This place is almost unbelievable in the size of the camping spots and prices. The park is well maintained and the bathroom is super clean with private Hot showers 🙌 I love this place. Customer service was perfect, they refunded my card because I didn’t get the Military discount without even having to go back in. Seriously 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

Very nice and clean. Frisbee golf course, trails, rv hookups, yurts, camping. Lots of nature everywhere. Showehouse and flush toilets are a nice touch as well. Not hard to find, about five minutes off of US 50. There are some pumping stations on the hillside overlooking the park that run constantly but are mostly a low hum. Apparently the wells fund the park and its amenities. Very nicely maintained.

We visited during the Mountain State Scottish Games and Celtic Festival. This is a nice big park with multiple walking paths, playgrounds, sunny and shaded seating areas, and a very inviting splash pad with a bucket water drop (so fun). There was also plenty of space for another group having a birthday party in a pavilion down the hill, despite the festival. It is just a 30 minute drive from Clarksburg/Bridgeport area. We will definitely be back in the future and recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Great find! This RV park is huge and fare priced. RV sites are nestled along the river. We were here over Halloween weekend, the park was full but not overcrowded due too it’s size. They had movie night, a haunted house and plenty of outdoor activities to do. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is definitely a favorite.
