If you’re searching for a dog park in Laurys Station, Pennsylvania where you can enjoy scenic, pet-friendly trails, the D&L Trail – River Dr Trailhead is a welcoming spot. This well-maintained paved trail offers plenty of opportunities for dog-friendly hiking, running, and walking along tree-lined paths with beautiful views of the Lehigh River. Families and pet owners appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, with a variety of scenic routes and outdoor activities to enjoy together.
The park is best suited for leashed dogs, offering a paved path that stays mostly dry and mud-free, even after a rain. While there are no designated off-leash or fenced areas, the trail is frequently cleaned and maintained by attentive volunteers. The parking area is small and unpaved, and there is typically a portable restroom available for visitors’ convenience. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this trailhead is the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll with your pup.
Very nice paved trail with lots of trees and flowers on both sides. My one disappointment was that the trail was not close to the river most of the time, as it is in Bethlehem and Bethlehem Twp.
Amazing bike trail, I love that we were able to cross from one town into the next. With an amazing view of the river.
Always great! Always well kept and free from trash. Maintained by volunteers who do a wonderful job!
Nice even trail. Not a bunch of low spots on a rainy day, easy peasy
This is nice section of the trail many scenic views of the Lehigh River. Great for running, biking, or just a good walk. Keep in mind parking is very limited at this trailhead.( Maybe 5 or 6 cars). However only a mile up the road is the cove trailhead under the bridge with lots of parking. I’ve been coming here for years with my female Sheppard “Sheena” we loved to walk here. Although she recently passed away I still come here. Bring the whole family n enjoy some outdoor activities you won’t be disappointed.
