Such a beautiful place. The animals have beautiful enclosures. The employees are super friendly and informative
What an amazing place! The animals are well taken care of and the staff is very kind. Only one note: make sure to bring cash. They don’t accept cards. They let us in for free because we didn’t have cash, but we went to an ATM to get cash afterwards and went back. The location is worth it!
Fantastically maintanined facility! Takes about 20-30minutes to walk through dependinf on how long you stay with each animal. Most rescues that can be released anf donated from shut down shellf actory in Ft Myers and fur trade situations. Bathrooms and water fountain on site. Wheelchair friendly.
We were happy to see this place fully re-opened after limiting hours for some repairs. This crew did an amazing job of rebuilding the walkways and adding some habitats. Great to see animals so well cared for.
This was a nice little find today. It’s a small refuge and there’s not a lot of animals but the people are very kind and they care very much for the animals they have. They give all the wildlife plenty of room in their enclosures. We were lucky to have a guided tour of the place and our tour guide, Ryan, did a great job. He apologized for the construction with the upgrades going on but we were thrilled they were still open and doing upgrades for the animals. Make sure to donate and help them out!
