Not a lot to see and do ,but it is worth a good 90 mins walking around ,just to see how America was in the 1800s all the buildings are original
Very pretty. Love the story surrounding the gardens creation.
The town of Zoar is scenic with an interesting history. We were there in late October so the garden wasn’t exactly in bloom but still well tended.
If in the area, a great way to see how life was in the early 1800’s. Not much to do … but if you enjoy history, older architecture, a nice half day of exploring the beautiful Village of Zoar. A well kept garden and many other neat, historic homes, buildings that made Zoar special. And it’s free!
A small town full of pride and history.
The Zoar gardens could do with more info boards within the gardens signifying the walk of life and it’s significance to linking heaven with Jesus.
