We love our dog park! Recently, a separate fenced area was added for small dogs to enjoy their own space. We have 2 temp shaded areas for visitors, one in the big dog side and one in the main side. There are plans for different/better shades along with benches (we currently have several nice picnic tables and some folks bring their own preferred chairs too), so to the person who left the one star review, that is antiquated information before the park was finished and needs editing! Franklin County Parks & Rec are keeping the park groomed and well kept and attentive to needs with plans for some fun events in the future as well. Lots of happy pooches and their people are enjoying our park. Find our park FB group too… Pilot NC Dog Park Community! See you there…

The Pilot, NC Dog Park is a well maintained space that has enough room for your furry friend’s zoomies. Seating areas with shading sails above and a watering station in each section are a perfect addition for dogs and humans alike.

This is a wonderful space! My dog is low maintenance, he wants to sniff and run and drink water. This hits all 3 of those needs for him. It’s a long rectangle with 3 posts for bags and garbage cans and 4 picnic tables. There is no shade however I don’t find that to be an issue since it’s not meant for anyone to be there long term and water is readily available. I travel the country and have been to many parks without seating for owners…I feel like this is an overlooked amenity for some owners. This is a simple yet fantastic addition to the area. Previously I was having to drive about 20-30 mins away for a dog park.

A wonderful experience at this new dog park! Very big space for dogs to run around and play, it is well kept and maintained. Has a dog water fountain which is a good addition. Will be back for sure!
