A really cool and fun park for the kids, mine loved it and we’ll be back for sure! The playground has a great play structure and the picnic tables are close by so parents can watch their kids and not be too far away.

EDIT: added a more current google Earth satellite pic to show where to park, enter, and where Crane rd is closed.
as of 2022 the wildflower trails are overgrown, there’s some kind of major construction going on on the edges of three sides of the park, some of which demolished the wildflowers on the south side. The regular parking lot is blocked off by major road construction on Crane, you’ll need to park in the residential streets bordering the park on north and south sides. The small pond has completely dried up due to either weather or the street/water main construction, so no watching ducks.. Otherwise, great park for running and walking. I hope they will reestablish the wildflower paths next year when the construction is done, it was beautiful last year.

Ample park built from a previous golf course. Not so much shade but great play structures. Infant and toddler swings, small and big shelter nearby, water fountain and restrooms. Paved biking trails. Windy, might be good for flying kites.

Excellent area for its young children’s playground, adult walking and cycling paths . It’s paths are well laid out; it has a lovely woodland area, but also a large area of prairie grasses with paths mown through them. (It includes a new car park off Crane, good washrooms, water fountains, picnic tables with shelter and Pokemon stops!)
