I enjoyed a wonderful walk, moderate hike up the mountain. I saw some mushrooms and was looking for turkey tails. On top of the mountain, the views are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the serenity of Gaia.

Nice small park with views from the top. Longest trail is 1.7 miles. If you link the blue and the white trials you basically cover the perimeter of the park, about 3 miles. Decent, moderate climb to the top.Use the free Avenza app to download a map and easily know exactly where you are on the trails. You often have to park on the road on a weekend. Small roads parking area. The park is free.

Enjoyable hiking experience in winter (better views from the top of the mountain). I’ve made a loop from blue and white trails and mixed in segments of red and purple ones to get more mileage. Spent about one hour. Finding parking spot could be an issue since the hike is really popular.

A great place to hike with the family or solo. It’s a moderate hike and well kept. The trails are clearly marked. Free parking at the site. You’ll get a great view of the Croton reservoir. Pick a trail and enjoy.
