JFK Marina and Park is a scenic green space along the Hudson River in Yonkers, New York. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the river, the New York City skyline in the distance, and the ambiance of an old factory that adds a unique historical flavor. This park is great for individuals seeking quiet time, picnics, or taking in local wildlife along pet-friendly trails, but it is not a dog park and dogs are not allowed as stated by posted signage from recent reviews.
Although the park features picnic benches, grilling areas (permit may be required), tennis and pickleball courts, and beautiful natural areas perfect for walking and reflection, dog owners are advised to look elsewhere for leash-free zones or dog-friendly activities. There is paid parking available for residents and non-residents, but street parking can also be found nearby. The tranquil setting makes JFK Marina and Park an ideal spot for relaxation, fishing, light recreation, or meditating by the river–just keep in mind the park’s restrictions on pets.

Plenty of space to roam around and enjoy the views of the Hudson and NYC skyline from afar. There is an old factory on the premise to its open to explore. You can have a picnic, fish, or just park up and enjoy alone time. Doesn’t get crowded, there are picnic style benches and a grilling area but you might need a permit. Great place around Yonkers, good for fishing with nice views, it would have been better if the city do something to get rid of loud music and the folks who ride dirt bikes on the grass, also it needs some cleaning as well.

Great park to spend some time relaxing watching the Hudson River passing by and it the perfect for flying your Drone. The only downside was the bathroom which needed more maintenance.

Park doesn’t offer much, 1st thing if your not a resident of yonkers they wanna charge you NULL to park,I just parked right outside and walked in. Sorry no way I’m paying that much. 2nd I didn’t see a playground, but atleast it has restrooms. The best part of the park is the abandoned plant next to it. If you don’t drove there’s a metronorth station there.

Good place to enjoy an afternoon. Usually not so many people. This place could turn into a nice hang out location. That power plant ruin can definitely transform into an art center or sometime like that. Underdeveloped area.
