Prairie Tails Dog Park

This doggie park is great! I admire all who designed, labored, built and made this gem possible!

Prairie Tails Dog Park is a solid spot for letting your pups stretch their legs and burn off some energy. It’s not the fanciest park around, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a nice chunk of land, giving your dogs plenty of space to run, play, and just be dogs, which is exactly what you want in a dog park.

One thing to keep in mind—it can get pretty gnarly when it rains. The mud can be a bit much, so if your pup likes to roll around, be prepared for a messy (but happy) dog. On the plus side, the park is usually open when it’s posted to be, so it’s reliable for those impromptu trips when your dog needs some off-leash time.

Overall, Prairie Tails is a great, no-frills spot that gets the job done. If you’re in the area and looking for a decent place to let your dog run free, it’s worth checking out. Just maybe bring a towel if it’s been raining!

Pretty good dog park except there’s often mud puddles even when it hasn’t rained in a while.

Three separate fenced areas for different size dogs! Clean area with built in activities like ramps and tunnels. Clean up bags and water provided!

A great dog park here in Wylie, conveniently located next to the municipal complex and walking trails. All four areas (two large and two small for alternating use) have a covered park bench, agility equipment, and a good amount of space for running. The large dog area has some nice groups of trees for a more interesting environment and shade
