If you’re searching for a wide-open, dog-friendly space in Wrentham, Massachusetts, Wrentham Dog Park is a must-visit destination. This large, fenced meadow allows your pups to run freely and socialize with other dogs, all while you enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views. The park’s rolling hills not only help energetic dogs burn off extra energy, but also offer great walking opportunities for owners on the well-trodden paths.
Amenities include benches in several corners for a restful break, and plenty of grassy areas to play fetch or just roam. While dogs are allowed off-leash within the fenced park, it’s important to note there are no water fountains, trash cans, or provided waste bags, so visitors should come prepared. Parking is available, though the lot is unpaved and has some potholes. Despite these minor setbacks, Wrentham Dog Park remains a local favorite for its social atmosphere and vast, natural environment.
Large dog park. Usually a lot of dogs and it’s relatively easy to get your dog energy out here due to the hills. Tip I’d recommend getting a ball and tossing it down hill while staying on the top. Usually after a couple times of that and on top of the socializing with other dogs, my dog is nice and asleep on the car ride back. THE ONLY BAD THING IS THERE IS NO AND REPEAT NO TRASH CANS TO THROW OUT PET WASTE. So there tends to be dog poop areas throughout the large park.
This is our favorite dog park hands down due to the size of it! Like a giant field fenced in that your dogs feel free and you will enjoy exercise as you walk around the path on the outskirts of it ..plenty of friendly dogs.
Large open meadow with farming fence surrounding it. Meadow is harvested twice a year by the school that owns it, so growth can be very high.
People are very friendly, and the dog had a great time exploring.
No water, trash or other amenities.
Nice big fenced in area where dogs can run, play and have fun off leash. It’s not supervised and some people put their dogs in the and go sit in their car so it’s largely unsupervised. Not for the timid I would say. A good area for training your dog.
The park is quite big and in an open area. It has some elevation which provides good exercise for both the dogs and their owners. During summer, it has lots of well maintained green grass and the view is beautiful and refreshing. There are some benches also at 3 corners and hence they become useful if one needs to take a rest. The only downside is the unpaved driveway and parking lot with lots of large potholes since the last few years and hence is a bit dangerous to get in or out of the parking area. Otherwise, a big beautiful dog park it is.
