Worcester Park, located at 3 S Hill Rd in Worcester, NY, offers a peaceful and shaded spot for locals looking for a place to enjoy with their dogs. Known as a welcoming park with wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking lots, this park offers amenities like picnic tables and a pavilion — making it a good choice for gatherings, picnics, and playtime with your pet.
Although the park’s area for dog walking is small and not fenced, it is still considered a better option than walking along city sidewalks. The park provides plenty of shade during the summer months, making it an inviting spot for pet owners seeking a cool, green escape. While not primarily a dedicated dog park, and with no separate small/large dog area or loop trails, Worcester Park remains a dog-friendly location perfect for casual strolls, especially for those seeking a tranquil experience in Worcester, New York.
Nice place, clean but the road to it sucks
Um were is this park? Says ive been there but i never heard of it.
Minimalist park; pavilion with picnic tables; sports fields (not maintained); photo showing creek is misleading (nearby creek is accessed through brush and over/under an active railway). Marked main entrance is on Main St with another unmarked entrance on South Hill Rd
Okay park. What it is rated is usually what it is used for. For a party or gathering, it probably is four or five stars, and for some sports it also probably would get four stars or five stars. I utilized it to walk my dog, and the area is small for that, yet better than walking my dog on the sidewalk. I have not been there for several years, and do not recall a loop trail, it could use 1 1/2 mile loop trail. There is a slope down to the park for some exercise. The parking is not that great, but it did have nice shade during the summer.
