Glad to have it to use but, as others have mentioned, there is absolutely no features except for a single chair – and not a tree or bush anywhere nearby. We left the park, walked right across the road, and enjoyed walking through the park ( on leash, of course ). The park has restrooms, two large gazebos and some shade.

This place has so much potential. There is an empty spot next to it that the dog portion could expand and add some things for the dogs.
Woof way definitely served its purpose (a place for my dog to meet and play with other dogs). However there was no shade a picnic table with benches and a single chair on the opposite end. There is plenty of poop bags if you don’t have your own and water fountain for your fur babies. The couple of dogs and the owners that was there were friendly. I would definitely return.

We came for the dog park! Jaco and I had a great time .
Small dog park enclosed with seating, waste bags and trash cans, running water for you and your pup.

I appreciate the effort in the dog parks area, but it it is very subpar. It needs to be expanded. Plenty of room to do so. Maybe would be a good idea to crowd fund the fencing . Otherwise, no shade, stinky, no grass. Just sad. Love Whitehall park though.

It is fenced, so that is good, but Woodway, you can do better!

Why did you make it so small? Why not incorporate the old playground area or some of the trees right next to it? Why not make it interesting?

Am I happy it is here, yes. It is a good start, but if the goal is to see if it gets much use before spending more to grow it then the problem is that it isn’t any larger than what most people have for backyards in Woodway, less any shade.

So, unfortunately, given the option, most Woodway residents will probably stay home.
