Great place to go for a stroll in the woods. Trails are clearly marked, only issue is this is right in town and this heavily travelled. Great view of downtown Woodstock and able to see mt ascutney and Bridgewater on the other side. The star on top, interesting to see up close !
Such a lovely trail. Great easy path and the summit has a lovely view. Definitely worth the hike. It took is about 40 min because we kept stopping to take pictures of the stunning natural surroundings.
We really love this place to hike with the dogs or just by yourself the trails go up the mountain through the woods so even when it’s sunny out there is shade it is always beautiful up top the view is 360 degrees. So it’s hard not to appreciate the views
A relative lives in the area. Houses are beautifully restored in the vicinity. She resides in what once was a carriage house across the road. The house has been moved to the other side of the road and beautifully restored.
The perfect place to take my 8 week old son for his first hike. The trails were extremely well taken care of. Very safe and could be enjoyed by people of all ages. Plus several benches so you can stop to rest. The view at the top is worth every step along the way. You can see the perfect Vermont landscape from up there. Take a deep breath and enjoy!
