Woodland Roadside Park is a convenient, pet-friendly spot located along M-66 in Woodland, Michigan, offering a peaceful place for travelers and locals alike to relax with their dogs. Known for its natural setting, this park is surrounded by woods, providing plenty of shaded areas for walks and quick breaks. It’s a wonderful destination for families and pet owners seeking dog-friendly trails or a small park to stretch their legs.
This park features wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, picnic tables, and public restrooms. While the restrooms are rustic, they are noted by visitors as particularly well-maintained compared to similar roadside facilities. The park is secluded, making it ideal for a quiet pause on any journey, though visitors should be mindful of its remote atmosphere. It’s important to note that while dogs are welcome, the space is not specifically designed as a fenced dog park—so leash requirements apply for your pet’s safety and comfort.

Beautiful little park for a quick break or to stretch your legs. Bathrooms leave a bit to be desired but the park itself is quite nice.
Potties are so fancy I almost wanted to flush 😂🤣 Good Job! THANK YOU! Most potties like that are yucky 😳 this one was very nice ☺️
It’s very secluded and the restroom is an old wooden style outhouse. It was off the road quite a bit. They had picnic tables & it’s surrounded by woods. I felt uncomfortable by myself but had to use the restroom 🤣
