Woodbridge Dog Park is one of the best outdoor destinations for dog owners in the Woodbridge, Connecticut area. This well-maintained, community-driven dog park features spacious, fenced-in areas that cater to both small and large dogs, ensuring plenty of room for safe and happy off-leash play. Benches and shaded spots offer comfortable places for owners to relax while their pets socialize, and the friendly local community makes every visit welcoming.
What makes Woodbridge Dog Park stand out is its proximity to pet-friendly hiking trails, perfect for owners who want to combine a stroll through nature with dog park play. The parking lot is wheelchair accessible and there are kid-friendly hiking routes nearby, making it an ideal spot for families. While there’s seasonal access to running water near the gated areas, visitors may want to bring their own bowls during colder months. This co-op, independently funded park is kept clean and well-maintained by dedicated regulars and volunteers, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.
Very clean and well maintained dog park. They also have plenty of walking trails around, which was great for me as my two dogs were overstimulated at first and needed to walk around to get focused. Both the small dog area and large dog area are very big, with benches and plenty of space. Even some little trees! There is also running water just outside of the gated area in the warm enough months. Great dog owners too
Excellent area and community. It has enough space for pups to run around and play. Trails around the park are also very nice.
GREAT place to bring the pups and share with like minded dog lovers! This is a co-op dog park, independently funded so I know they would welcome all the help they can get financially or professionally with lawn care.
Love this dog park, it even has a trail which you can enjoy walking your furry friend with.
Good size park with separate little dog side. No water fountain.
Has trails to walk around, there were a lot of people on the trails so dogs need to be leashed.
