If you’re looking for a scenic, dog-friendly hiking trail in Wolf Creek, Oregon, the London Peak Accessible Trailhead is a must-visit spot. Just outside Wolf Creek, this trail offers breathtaking views with an easy, approachable path that’s even wheelchair accessible. The approximately two-mile roundtrip hike rewards you and your pup with panoramic vistas at the summit, making it an ideal spot for adventure seekers and nature-loving pet owners alike.
While the road access can be a bit rough and is easier with all-wheel-drive vehicles, many reviewers mention it’s doable in a sedan—just brace for some bumps! On the trail, you’ll find a well-cared-for environment, perfect for walking, running, or simply soaking up the scenery with your dog. Traveling families will also appreciate the proximity to Wolf Creek Park, which features picnic tables, boat ramp, and a playground for children. Restrooms are available near the trailhead, and dogs are welcome but should be kept under control at viewpoints due to nearby cliffs.
Off-road access but easily done in a sedan. Beautiful
Hiked up from the wolf creek park it was steep and lots of blow down on the trail, tons of poison oak. Bit the view was incredible at the top!😁
The road up is a bit adventurous but the trail itself is very approachable.
Easy trail rewards you with one of the best views anywhere. Approximately 1-mile each way. Wheelchair negotiable. Keep children and dogs restrained; the viewpoint at the end has a 200-foot cliff. Photo credit to Bruce Hope.
A lovely, flat trail we enjoyed with our kids. Maybe 2 miles tops. The road up is not for the faint of heart and probably better with AWD (unpaved, steep, narrow).
