The Small Dog Area at Lyon Oaks Dog Park is a well-maintained space dedicated to dogs 20 lbs and under. It features a quarter-mile perimeter, perfect for both keeping an eye on your dog and letting them enjoy some active play. The park includes a covered pavilion with picnic tables, waste cans, and wheelchair accessible parking, making it a comfortable and convenient spot for dog owners. While there are no permanent restrooms nearby, porta-potties are available.

Nice place to bring your small dog(s).
The small dog section is limited to dogs 20 lbs and under. The perimeter is 0.25 miles which makes it small enough to keep an eye on your dog but large enough for some fun and romping around. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables and waste cans.
One negative comment about the dog park area is that there are no nearby restrooms, for humans ;), only porta-potties. That’s disappointing for an otherwise terrific public resource, park area.
