Located at 21799-21753 W Wilson Ave, Park is a simple open space in Wittmann, Arizona, known for its gravelled patch surrounded by a 3-foot fence. This basic community park doesn’t offer fancy amenities, but it’s occasionally used by local residents for casual gatherings and waiting in line for food box distributions. There are a few covered picnic benches and park grills, making it a low-key, dog-friendly spot for those seeking a quiet place to sit in rural Maricopa County.
If you and your four-legged friend are searching for a pet-friendly park in Wittmann with some seating and minimal shade, Park offers basic amenities but is less geared toward active dog play or off-leash fun. It is wheelchair accessible and good for kids; though the fenced area isn’t always accessible due to a frequently closed gate, determined locals mention it’s possible to enter. A horseshoe pit and grills add a little variety for visitors looking to relax.
There is an open gravelled patch surrounded by a couple of covered picnic benches & park grills. Very little shade. Horseshoe pit if you bring your own horseshoes. Gate’s closed half the time but the 3ft fence is easily hoppable, but there really isn’t much point to trying to get in. This space is really only here for people to sit down once a week while in line for their food box. Across the street is one of the saddest basketball courts ever.
