The roads are finally fixed! The fenced in area without kids equipment has gone downhill still though. That area no longer has a garden, plants, or a swing. It’s sad that the parks department was eliminated and park responsibilities were given to another department.

Swings and slides for every size kid. It’s always felt like a safe place for me to bring my child to play while I kick back on the bench. I just really wish there were a shady area to sit during the hot days, but overall it’s a great little city park.

We recently stayed one night on our way through and found the management very helpful and made the stay easy. The park is quiet between trains passing. If you like large, clean sites with easy access as we do, you’ll like this park.

It is nice and peaceful, but disappointing when it comes to the equipment. I have to pick my toddler up and help her to get to the slide every time because there are no steps. It’s also rusty and has broken pieces getting up to the slide. I am glad to see more baby swings this time but would enjoy watching my daughter get to play without me having to stay on top of her.
