Historic Hune Covered Bridge Campground

Historic Hune Covered Bridge Campground is a peaceful and scenic camping spot featuring a beautiful covered bridge (currently closed due to land slippage) and direct access to the Little Muskingum River. The campground offers a few non-electric tent sites with fire rings and picnic tables, suitable for small families and dog owners. Visitors can enjoy hiking nearby trails, supervised swimming and play in the shallow river for kids and dogs, and convenient on-site parking. Facilities are basic with pit toilets, and dogs must be leashed as per park ranger rules. The area provides a quiet, natural retreat with good access to hiking and river activities, though no specialized dog park features.
