If you’re looking for a friendly and accommodating dog park in Windsor, California, Charles “Chuck” Williams Memorial Dog Park is a local favorite for both dogs and their owners. Located at 106-114 Pleasant Ave, this spacious park offers ample room for dogs to play, with plenty of shaded spots provided by beautiful oak trees. Known for its welcoming community, many owners enjoy morning visits between 9am and 11am, when the park is busiest and full of energy. The park boasts wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it suitable for all visitors, and is also good for families with children.
Amenities include benches, picnic tables, and a dedicated water pool for dogs to cool off or hydrate. It’s a single, mixed-size area, so be mindful if your pup is smaller or new to energetic groups. The community atmosphere makes for a safe and social environment—just keep in mind that some visits may be better suited for dogs over 30 pounds, based on owner feedback. Whether you’re looking to stretch your legs on pet-friendly trails or just relax in the shade, this Windsor dog park is a must-visit stop for local pet lovers.
Brought my 2 dogs here to play . But there are to many dogs here that bit. my 20 pound dogs wanted to leave within 5 min they walked back to the gate and was over it. I do not recommend for people traveling threw with dogs smaller then 30 pounds . Even tho its amix size dog park , the dog pack there is not so good with new dogs or smaller new dogs lots of biting.
The people here are amazing.I have very dog reactive dogs and everybody. That walked by with a dog.I asked if they could wait and they were so kind I definitely recommend going here. It’s pretty big.It has its own water pool for dogs.If you wanna put water and the balls itches, it’s a great atmos. I love it.
Absolutely love taking my dog here. Super nice people and wonderful dogs. Personally I go in the mornings and found that between 9am to 11am is the busiest time which is the most fun. Highly recommend coming to this dog park.
Amazing dog park ❤ Gaia had so much fun. Two legged pets were very nice.
Great dog park in Windsor! Sat and Sun mornings around 9am is the busiest with the most dogs, usually all the same dogs every week. Highly recommend it with plenty of water, large area for dogs to properly run and not feel like they are all on top of each other. Wonderful oak trees provide excellent shade for one half of the park with plenty of benches and picnic tables for dogs and owners to enjoy.
