One of the most beautiful spots to have a fun day on the river. Taking a Jet Ski going north would be the best thing, so much to see. Coves, Hot springs and great view. Keep in mind that the water is cold compared to Lake Mead. For sure will go there again
Willow Beach is a short drive drive from Las Vegas, about 1hr 15min, and a beautiful escape from the Vegas heat. Its best to get there early to ensure a parking spot, as It can fill up fast. The water is chilly and is the same temp all year round, but it’s nice and clear. The riverbank spots to rest vary depending on water height and flow, so pulling over to stretch the legs can be a challenge. Its about 2 miles upstream to get to Emerald Cave and if you’ve never experienced it I’d say it’s a must, There can be a line to go in so be patient. There are amenities to use if you plan on no boating of any kind, again get there early for a shaded spot at a table or shoreline. Bring LOTS OF WATER , it gets HOT also.

Perfect for kayaking beginners! Springtime is the perfect time to go. There are multiple stops you can make and the scenery is pretty. Theres a place for picnic, camping and swimming. Theres a couple of food places at the marina too.
