The best aspect of this place is Rocky, the owner, who warmly welcomed me, offered restaurants recommendations (and a small discount at a couple of places with your key fob), and how I can best drive to Greylock. The room itself is small yet perfect for me as I was on my own. The place is far from fancy but seemed well-maintained and clean. Yes, the dresser could be replaced but who really puts their clothes in one 😉. The AC worked and seemed like a newer unit. Also, you can bring your dog here for a small fee/day. There are sidewalks so it seems you can walk them along Main Street with no major issues. It’s only 1.3 miles from the Williamstown Theatre Festival so one could theoretically walk there. I like the fact that it was on the other side of Williamstown on Main Street, as it felt more open. There’s a mini strip mall within walking distance (500 feet, in fact) with a Mexican restaurant and Korean/Japanese restaurant. In the other direction, there’s a diner and a Greek/pizza place that would warrant a car drive. Overall, this has been a nice, affordable place for me, as I attend the theatre festival.

No fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave, no phone to call the office, bring your own toiletries… no hair conditioner. Needed ice to keep my dogs food cold. I saw an ice bucket, so maybe they had ice at the office. I wouldn’t know… no one was at the office for hours to get me any. God forbid if you need to keep essential medication cold. Pet friendly, but there is no place to walk your dog. Said there was RV parking. There wasn’t. Was told to park it across the street. Right,… because I want to be that far away from all my things on my RV. Not even room for a small RV. Who rated this place as excellentNULL All this for NULL. Should have not paid over ? for it, and that’s being kind. This is just a place to sleep and watch TV.

Not sure why luxury is in their tag line as this is a basic motel but rooms were clean and the owner was helpful in recommending places to eat around. Four stars for the room because it was good for the level of motel. Only gave 3 stars for service because there was no one to be found on our check out day. There was a number to call posted at the front desk but no one answered the phone. We didn’t know what to do so we just left the key on the desk. I don’t know what we would have done in case of real questions or needs as no one was there. It was kind of like a ghost town. However, room was clean and spacious and we were able to park right in front of our room. It did what we needed it for and the location is close to Williams college and other local attractions.

We are driving through from Portland, Maine to Albany, New York. We have stayed at a number of inexpensive hotels along the way and this one has far exceeded expectations. The room is super clean, including the bathroom! The room smelled fresh upon entering the first time, and there is a wonderful view from our large picture window. Linens are great, and not stained, and comfortable beds, with the best hotel/Motel internet I have ever had. They called me the morning that I was going to check in to find out when I would be there so that they could make sure our room was a nice tempature and welcoming, which it was. We feel very safe and appreciate the quietness of the property. The last place we stayed doesn’t even compare to the breath of fresh air that Williamstown Motel is.They even gave us a free room upgrade! It was a very pleasant and happy surprise. As a travel agent, I would happily recommend and book my clients here. Wonderful accommodations and a fantastic value. Don’t miss out just because there are other chain properties in town. This small family business is fantastic! If we find ourselves back in the area, this will be our first choice. Thank you!
