Our city parks are in need of maintenance. This playground has a slide that has been missing for years, the hole is now boarded up. There is a tunnel that has a major crack in it on the top as well. Although it is very clean, it would be nice to see it safe. I grew up in this park. There are 2 ball fields, a golf course and area to walk around. Very nice scenery, as long as you turn your back to Washington Street. 😉 Area is shared with the local fire department and there is a convenience store across the street which is convenient.

Relaxation is the word, for those who want to play golf or have a good time with your dog (s). Or if you like to watch sports keep an eye on the leagues.

Not huge if your dog loves to really run or chase the ball, but it’s fully enclosed, has a covered seating area for humans and has agility obstacles. Very convenient to I-81.

If you want to meet great dogs and their owners, this is the place for you.The above said, from time to time there are dogs that I would not want to meet, mostly because their owners are irresponsible ones.

We have been taking our Rottweiler to the Hollenback dog park from day one to keep him socialized. It is great that there is a free place to let your dog run and socialize. Anyone who complains that this park is not up to their standards is an idiot. How do you complain about a free facility that is being shared with you and your dog?
