The campground itself is great but the fact that the locals use it as a thru road or place to walk their dog is super annoying! Don’t let your kids walk around here alone at anytime of day or night people will come flying through this campground! They should put no thru signs up and ticket people or close one of the entrances! *Coffee from the old hotel in town is a must!!
We went for 12u girls softball game. The restrooms were awesome. I was surprised for such a small town.
The IV and camping sites were wonderful however more water spickets are needed as we had to share with five other campers. That didn’t matter much to me as a water pressure was still good. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the park. It was during the the Czech Festival. Great I would recommend this to any campers you like to be in a small town is really impressive town.
For the most park this is a nice place. However DANGEROUS for pets and children. The American Legion Post 101 has high traffic with gatherings three to four times a week. People speed, kids come onto your campsite with no adult supervision. Just 30 mins ago two boys were playing in the road. One black truck who of course is speeding slams on his breaks and blows his horn because he almost hit them.
All in all it is a nice park and many people walk around it and the front campground as well . The American legion building is across the street and they have beautiful bathrooms with showers. The back campground will with our camper had electric it was gravel pets were definitely allowed there were quite a few this weekend and our group had some and they were all tied up.the thing I did not like was that there was only two fire pits not one per site period our group used one on one end and a covered shelter for meals that had a fireplace in it but we didn’t use it period but there were no picnic tables either at the individual sites. Only two tables for the whole back campground and only two fire pits.
