Picked here to view eclipse and it was perfect! Nice well maintained playground sets with big open fields and a creek. It has trees here and there providing shade if needed, a steep hill along one side for kids to roll down, and thankfully a bathroom! Beautiful park!!!
I was amazed this park was not on the map! It is a great park for many activities such as tennis, basketball, picnics, playground play, family get togethers, and outdoor time. We stop every year when traveling to the coast. The playground has a variety of items for kids of all ages. There are a couple gazebos for events or just sitting in the shade. There are also areas of picnic tables both in and out of the shade. Parking us close to the playground area and trash receptacles are provided. There are also bathrooms (very well kept every time we are here) but no soap so bring in some sanitizer. This is a quiet sweet town and every time we are here we enjoy the people we come in contact with. Simply a wonderful family stop.
