Had fun here but was absolutely disgusting last time we were there. Trash all over the place and someone passed out on one of the benches near one of the play equipment which was concerning for my kids playing near him. Could use some maintenance, but plenty of play equipment if city would upkeep it a little better.
This is a nice quiet space for the kids to play or just relax. It’s pretty clean when the grass is cut.
They really made the park so much better. Well maintained and generally quiet.
Updated 8/22/2020 – We have found syringes and frequently have come across homeless people sleeping or camping out. While the playground area has been well taken care of, there are still people who leave trash. Just wish people would care a bit more. It’d make the park so much better!
We love this park, the only downside, lately there has been a homeless person there every time we visit. I know homeless people aren’t bad people, but there are some that are, and I’d rather not roll the dice with my kid’s safety. Other than that, we like it, the equipment is fun and the shaded area is nice. They also have baby swings that my dog loves to swing in lol
It’s a nice park, but the only problem with it is at night with all the homeless folks taking up shelter in the bathrooms…
