Great quarter mile track with lots of races nearly every weekend. Everyone is really nive and they have food and refreshments ready. They have local racers as well as a lot of out of towners that will show up to compete. Plenty of parking. Had a great time!
The Whittemore Speedway is a fun Saturday night up north for the whole family. Without knowing much about the racers, classes, or vehicles we had fun watching the cars roar by on the oval track. Plenty of free parking and bleacher seating. My niece rode the Magic Bus around the track at intermission and loved it. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Old school car racing, you sit close to the track and feel the speed! They have different cars that race such as modified or fwd. No bad fume smells, you can bring a cooler with your own booze as long as you behave. Concessions available. It’s a fun family night. Oldest speedway in Michigan.
