The area that me and my family went to was really rocky and made for an interesting day but overall I think it was great The play place sadly didn’t have the screen cover on it so everything was way too hot for the kids to play on and I got to burn on my leg from just standing too close to one of the sides of the slide there’s a place for the cover to go on but there’s no screen so it makes no sense.

Its a beautiful place for camping with kids. Everything is really well maintained and the 🚻 were clean. NOTE: You will have to carry your own soap with you. The sunset and sunrise 🌅 are just divine. You can never have a more peaceful wakeup call then the chirping of birds.

I walked around for two hours today, it was windy and the lake was nice and full with whitecaps. I found a bunch of cool rocks for my rock tumbler that’ll look great once polished. There were only a few cars coming and going so I basically had the park to myself. The best time to come down is the summer when you can swim but the lake is fullest in the off seasons. There are covered picnic tables and barbecue grills for picnics and summer family gatherings.

Nice park. Lots of covered patios with tables near the water. Lots of space between the sets of tables. I did see a few people fisshing away from the swim areas, but i never got the chance, so i dont know how good the fishing is. The only downside i saw was a few small boulders in the water near the shore, but once you know where they are, they’re easy to avoid. Cheap day entry fee, NULL a car load. I also saw some camping areas and I’m sure they are at a different price.

Ross, the gate keeper, was super friendly and helpful for us first timers. We will definitely be back! Park has docks, boat entrance, playgrounds, picnic tables with grills near the water. Fishing!!!! Lots of fishing. Man made beach for swimming, also. Clean restrooms! NULL day pass, or NULL annual pass!
