Great trail to run, hike or mountain bike (although no mountains) several views of Suwannee River and some parts are a section of Florida Trail.

Sharon Shea

A beautiful section of the FL Trail that brings hikers into the small historic Town of White Springs and Stephen Foster Culture Center State Park.

Great mountain biking trail. Suwannee Bicycling Association maintains the trail, Bridge to Bridge, and across the river, Gar Pond. Across the street are more trails, Beast of Burden and Barnett Loop that leads to Big Shoals. So many trails!

In August 2024 the eye of Hurricane Debby came within 15 miles and the winds knocked some whole trees or treetops on the trail, and the rain caused the river to rise 20′ the next day! Until the river recedes back into its banks, the trail is underwater in several places.
